22-24 September 2021
Following on from my last fundraising effort – walking the length of Hadrian’s Wall in 2017, I will soon be embarking on my next adventure and this time I have managed to persuade Lorraine and Darren to join me! On 22-24 September 2021, we will be walking the length of the Antonine Wall to raise money for Taunton Opportunities Group (TOG).
The walk will commence at Old Kilpatrick on the river Clyde and will see us walk 39 miles ending up on Bridgenesson river Forth.
The Antonine Wall stretches between Bridgeness on the Forth (east) to Old Kilpatrick (west) a distance of over 40 Roman miles. For a short period, in 2nd century AD, this was the northern frontier of the Roman Empire.
TOG are a Taunton based charity who support families with babies and young children who have a wide range of special needs and disabilities. You can find out more about them by visiting their website
