Citadel visited Summerfield Stadium, Taunton, on Saturday to show support for the team in their National League Two West match against Cinderford. We were shown fantastic hospitality by the club and enjoyed the day immensely. The game was tight and tense and played out in atrocious conditions (we were glad we were inside)! With just two minutes left on the clock Taunton Tigers converted a penalty making the final score 16-14 and Matthew presented the man of the match to Alex Spurdle (pictured). Thankfully he didn’t make Matthew venture onto the pitch for this, kindly joining him on the touchline! This leaves the Titans in 5th place on the table!

Following this match the club was hit with devastating flooding affecting both the ground and the lower floors of the clubhouse on 27th January meaning a loss of revenue for the club and a significant repair bill to get the club up and running again at full capacity.
