I am extremely proud to announce Citadel has achieved Certified B Corporation® status, joining a global community of businesses measuring our social and environmental impact.
I have long believed that as a business we can make a positive impact on the lives of the team working here, our community and our impact on the planet.
Certifying as a B Corp™ provided an opportunity to think again about how we achieve this and ensure we have the right frameworks and policies in place to ensure consistency. The certification process itself is rigorous. It has taken 2 years to achieve and has made us challenge and indeed change some of our goals and approaches as well as affirming some of the things we already do well but could improve.
The whole team here at Citadel has embraced this, and it is the confirmation of what we’ve been working hard to achieve – to use business as a force for good. We are excited to join the family of companies that have already achieved Certified B Corporation® status and look forward to continuing on this journey.
