Following our recent decision to work with local charity, Devon Freewheelers, we were pleased to be invited along to their headquarters in Honiton in February to meet with Vikki and Russell personally.
It was great to meet them both and to learn more about the work the charity does. We were surprised at the number of products the service transports and also by the number of volunteers that support the service by giving up their time to help in various ways! It was also an opportunity to see the hub where the service is coordinated from and the fleet of bikes and other vehicles the charity uses in its work and, as you can see, we had time for a quick photo!
Our first event to raise money for Devon Freewheelers, a charity walk of Ackling Dyke near Salisbury, is scheduled for June and we will update you with more details on this a little nearer the time so watch this space…!
