14-17 October 2017

As you know, Matthew likes to give himself a biennial challenge to complete in support of his chosen local charity, Taunton Opportunities Group (TOG).

From 14th-17th October 2017, he followed in the steps of Roman Emperor Hadrian and walked the Hadrian’s Wall long distance path, built in 2nd Century AD.

The National Trail stretches for 84 miles from coast to coast across Northern England from Wallsend in Newcastle, to Bowness-on-Solway on the west coast.

Matthew’s goal was to raise a target sponsorship of £1,000

The Itinerary

Friday 13th October – Arrival day.

Check into 1st nights’ accommodation at the ‘Cumbria Park Hotel’ in Carlisle.
