Apologies for the delayed update but business has been busy since we hung up our walking boots last month!

In all we walked 47 miles. We were pleasantly surprised by the very varied terrain of the walk and the amount/expanse of physical wall still there to appreciate today.

The weather was kind to us – dry and at times even a little sunny – but not too hot – perfect for walking!

We worked well as a team and, when the going got tough, encouraged and supported each other – usually by the sharing of some anti inflammatory pain killers and an energy drink! The thought of the glass or two of wine/beer/cider in the evenings with dinner might also have spurred us on a little 😉  The overnight stops were fun and a good time to relax and chat about the events and progress of the day – also an opportunity to have a long soak in the bath!

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would like to thank everyone who has been kind enough to donate and help support TOG – a local and well deserved charity! We know your donations will be very much appreciated and will provide support to children with educational and medical needs and disabilities and their families.
